Pint of Science 2024

The Pint of Science festival aims at delivering exciting and engaging talks on the latest science and research discoveries in an accessible and fun format to the public – all at a pub!

Three days of science in Stavanger - bringing the scientist to you!

Pint of Science want to provide a platform that allows people to discuss research with the people who carry it out. It is run by volunteers and was established by a community of postgraduate and postdoctoral researchers in 2012.

DAY 1 TALKS (13th)

DAY 2 TALKS (14th)

  3. SUNLIGHT-DEGRADEABLE ANTIBIOTICS — (Liza van Sang from UiS)

DAY 3 TALKS (15th)

The presentations at Pint of Science are aimed to engage the general public and usually are 10-15min long. Since Stavanger is a truly international city and Pint of Science wishes to connect to a large audience, which is why the presentations are held in English.
