At 18 years of age Ola Soppeland bought his first property with money made from recycling bottles and sales of moped parts. Money can be made out of anything, but it´s not the money in itself that is interesting for the property developer from Tau.
When Ryfast finally opens, the opposite side of the fjord is well prepared for a new reality thanks to Soppeland. The exact number of commercial properties, houses and apartments he has built he can´t quite recall. But there´s still high activity. A stone´s throw from the old ferry dock there´s a big project being built. A large shopping mall is opening in March with new homes being constructed nearby. Most of it built by Soppeland.
