The rise in smaller companies wanting to sit in a large office space with access to canteen, meeting rooms and a social environment has led to Smedvig creating five different concepts to suit various needs.
In Bjergsted two shared office spaces Valter and Kvistn have been established in the same building. Small companies within the financial sector are located in Valter, whereas the more creative and digital focused companies reside in Kvistn. The idea is to concentrate similar companies in one area so they can utilize the shared facilities as well as being able to share competencies and experience.
– It´s far easier offering this type of facility to a homogenous group rather than to an entire market, Director of Sjur Christian Monsen says.
