Whether you are already an entrepreneur, newly started , or just have an idea, this interactive session will provide you with practical techniques and best practices for starting a business – with a focus on how to design it for enduring success.

We will first explore the essence of business and key trends which are shaping it today, including forces such as digitalization, sustainability, and a greater focus on purpose.

Next, we will walk through two fundamental design techniques to define the why of a business (its value proposition and customers) as well as the what of a business (its business model).  You will have an opportunity to begin applying these techniques to your business idea, leveraging two globally adopted canvases provided during the session.

Finally, we will close with a discussion on how to move into action, with a roadmap for the journey from business idea to operation, and reflections on lessons from successful companies.
