The Stavanger region has a fast-growing financial sector, including venture capital funds with increasing available funds. Stavanger Chamber of Commerce has its own Finance resource group consisting of a range of financial institutions working together since 2001 to create a strong financial hub in the region. They hereby invite finance master students and businesses to a social evening where the discussion will be around future financial market in the Stavanger-region.

Sondre works as an ESG Specialist in the Portfolio Department in SKAGEN Funds. He works closely with portfolio mangers on sustainability analyses and ownership dialogues, and manages SKAGENs framework for ESG. He has previous experience as a renewable energy broker in the continental power market in Europe. He holds a MA (Hons) in International Relations from the University of Edinburgh and an MSc in Political Economy of Europe from the London School of Economics and Politics.
Finstart Nordic har investert i og bidrar løpende til utvikling av 10 fintech selskaper med ulike produkter og tjenester. Selskapene er primært tidligfase vekstselskaper, men noen begynner også å bli etablerte selskaper med god inntjening
Bernt Arne Ødegaard is a Professor of Finance at the University of Stavanger (UiS). He has a PhD from Carnegie Mellon University (1992). He has previously taught at the Unversities of Illinois (Chicago) and British Columbia (Vancouver), the Norwegian School of Management BI (Oslo), the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), and Copenhagen Business School (CBS), and has been with the Norwegian Central Bank’s research department.
