Stavanger needs more role models with a multicultural background.Stavanger Opportunity is a mentor and leadership development program for immigrant talents. The Stavanger-region hosts 181 nationalities, and represents a unique opportunity for diversity and creativity. The Stavanger Opportunity ambition is to make sure more immigrants take central positions in working life and society.

Stavanger Opportunity will bring out more role models with a multicultural background and strengthen the region's position as international and inclusive. The program runs over one year with high-quality monthly subject meetings and with regular mentor talks. The mentors are recruited from leading positions in business and  public sector.  

This first event will cover information about the Stavanger Opportunity program by Federico Juarez Perales, Julian Wong and  Marte Solheim. Solheim is Associate Professor and Head of Stavanger Centre for Innovation Research, at the University of Stavanger.  This event will take place in English.
