Leading Tech companies enticed by clean energy

The IT giants are heading for our region.

The search for clean energy motivates them. Potentially bringing with them positive effects regarding business start-ups and the regions ability to restructure and develop.

It´s all about the need for power supply, and ultimately renewable energy. By the end of the year, Microsofts new data facility will be up and running, a facility due to serve a local and international market. Microsoft is not the only tech company thinking about alternatives and renewable energy. Both Google and Facebook have signed agreements ensuring access to electricity from Rogaland providing power to their facilities in Scandinavia and Europe.
