Frogner House

Greetings from the SCI Team - February.

We have certainly had a fresh start of 2019 in all senses of the word. In January winter finally arrived. A bit of snow, icy roads and lots of clear fresh winterly air.

Some of you took the opportunity of joining us for a basic course in cross-country skiing in Sirdal. Great fun and an effective way to get familiar with Norwegian winter conditions. We expect more snow in the mountains in the coming weeks, so there will be more opportunities to join us for skiing.

This year will be exciting in many ways. In September there will be elections in all municipalities and all regions in Norway. In January we staged a meeting here at Rosenkildehuset where all the leading politicians in Stavanger participated, outlining their ambitions for Stavanger as an international city. It was a very inspiring meeting, and we urge you all to take part in the local political debate which will take place with increased intensity till September.

We are looking forward to an active February. Check out our event calendar HERE.

Warm greetings from the SCI Team!

Inger Tone, Randi, Elianne, and Frode.
